AMANDA SCOTT, Founder and President
Amanda Scott has been recruiting nationally since 2002 and started Solution Harbor, Inc, in 2010. Amanda’s focus has been on placing key employees at some of the country’s best companies, and she really enjoys working with CEO’s and entrepreneurs to build their management and executive teams. Prior to founding Solution Harbor, Amanda served as a Senior Associate at a finance and accounting staffing firm for 5 years. Amanda began her career as a recruiter at Aerotek, where she was responsible for fulfilling roles at SONY Electronics North American HQ. Amanda is an active member of Provisors and often facilitates workshops and informational presentations. Amanda has a BA degree from SDSU in Philosophy – she is also a daily meditator and practices yoga several times a week. She believes strongly in bringing her yogic principles of mindfulness into her business and strives to do what is right for her clients and her candidates. Recruiting is a deeply personal and important process for any business as well as employee, and Amanda really cares about the human aspects of her profession.
Tom Forquer, Vice President of Marketing and Recruiting
Tom Forquer brings a unique and useful set of skills to the recruiting and marketing efforts at Solution Harbor. Tom completed his bachelor’s degree at Santa Clara University and his teaching credential at University of Redlands. Tom has been involved in the education industry throughout California since 2004 which makes him exceptionally qualified to support Solution Harbor’s clients. Tom has experience recruiting large teams of people and understands the challenges of recruiting for personality and cultural fit. Tom has also had extensive experience in building corporate culture, processes, and procedures, and works to implement improved methodology at Solution Harbor to benefit our clients recruiting efforts. Additionally, Tom has been a marketing consultant for a number of years and works on Solution Harbor’s marketing programs. Tom is an avid rock climber, kite boarder and paddler and can provide hours of suggestions on places to adventure in the West.
